Michelle got her start in the custom canvas industry in 1989 at Cover Me Custom in Lake Havasu City, owned by Lee Brown. In 2002, with Lee's encouragement and family support, Michelle opened Custom Boat Covers, Etc. Inc. From there, we have worked with the majority of marine-related shops located in Lake Havasu (such as Advantage, Campbell, Conquest, Cheetah, and Shimmer Playcraft, just to name a few) to manufacture their canvas products.

In order to adapt to the recession and shrinking boat industry, in 2009 Michelle and John dissolved the corporation and went back to sole proprietorship, down-sizing significantly, but still providing excellent customer service and the highest quality workmanship as Custom Covers L.H.C. We are currently a home-based business
